The Identity Exhibition explores the interplay between cultural assimilation and individual identity formation through a curated collection of paintings and installations. This body of work brings together individuals from various fields with whom I have engaged in dialogue, capturing their distinct identities within a national context that remains deeply influenced by the cultural forces of dominant global cities. At its core, this exhibition examines the extent to which these identities are shaped by the hegemonic narratives of world superpowers. These leading nations propagate their cultural frameworks to developing countries, reinforcing their global influence. This phenomenon parallels the way individuals craft and project their identities to establish prominence within their respective spheres. Identity, therefore, is not only a reflection of personal expression but also a manifestation of the larger forces that define cultural and social hierarchies.
