Residency Overview
STUDIOS 94 offers three self-led residency programs to fit different creative needs, with space for three residents per month. Our building is located directly in the city centre of Chiang Mai, next door to an art supply shop, and spans over five floors. It includes an art gallery, workshop space, coworking areas, artist and creative studios, balconies, a rooftop, and other shared facilities—giving you access to both inspiring social spaces and calm, personal areas.

Creative Community & Events
Residents are encouraged to share their work and passions — whether it's hosting a workshop, Hosting a community Event, I live DJ set, or opening your studio to the public during open-studio events.
You'll also have the opportunity to join any of our community events taking place during the time of your residency.

Minimum stay: 1 month
Maximum stay: 3 months
Space available for up to 3 resident artists per month.
Applications are open all year-round.

Visa
Foreign artists planning to join our 3-month art residency in Thailand will typically need a Non-Immigrant Visa O or a Non-Immigrant Visa B, depending on their purpose and activities. These visas allow for extended stays and may require additional documentation, such as an invitation letter from our art space. Artists on a Tourist Visa can also stay for up to 60 days, extendable for an additional 30 days.
Selling artwork or conducting business activities for any foreigners is not permitted by Thai law.

The Project Space offers a unique artistic ambience, surrounded by curated contemporary artworks in a working gallery environment—perfect for hosting events that feel both professional and creatively charged.
The layout is highly adaptable and can be arranged to suit a variety of event formats, including talks, private dinners, workshops, and creative gatherings.
Support services are available throughout your booking, with staff on-site to help ensure everything runs smoothly. To elevate your experience, additional services can be arranged upon request:

Outsourced catering is available to enhance your event with food and drinks.

Equipment rentals such as whiteboards, microphones, and projector screens can be provided for presentations or workshops.

Additional staff support can be arranged for late hours or larger events, with extra charges applying as needed.
To guarantee availability and smooth coordination, we recommend requesting all add-ons at the time of booking. The Project Space blends a striking visual setting with professional support, making it an ideal location for events that aim to inspire and connect.
The Project Space is available for private bookings all day on Mondays, and for evening bookings from Tuesday to Sunday (after 6:00 PM).
Please note that while the space can be reserved for private use, members with 24/7 access to our studios may still need to pass through the gallery to exit the building.
We always inform our community in advance and ensure they remain respectful and discreet during your event.
