STUDIOS 94 offers three self-led residency programs to fit different creative needs, with space for three residents per month. Our building is located directly in the city centre of Chiang Mai, next door to an art supply shop, and spans over five floors. It includes an art gallery, workshop space, coworking areas, artist and creative studios, balconies, a rooftop, and other shared facilities—giving you access to both inspiring social spaces and calm, personal areas.

Visa
Foreign artists planning to join our 3-month art residency in Thailand will typically need a Non-Immigrant Visa O or a Non-Immigrant Visa B, depending on their purpose and activities. These visas allow for extended stays and may require additional documentation, such as an invitation letter from our art space. Artists on a Tourist Visa can also stay for up to 60 days, extendable for an additional 30 days.
Selling artwork or conducting business activities for any foreigners is not permitted by Thai law.

As part of the residency, you'll stay in a private bedroom with a desk and shared bathroom and receive your own fixed desk and personal wall space in our shared Artist Studio.
This setup is ideal for painters, sculptors, mixed media artists, and designers who need physical space to work and display in-progress pieces.
You’ll also have full access to STUDIOS 94’s shared spaces, including the coworking area, rooftop, kitchen, and lounge.
WiFi and utilities are fully included, and daily cleaning is provided for all shared areas.
Residents receive discounts on in-house workshops and have the option to host their own workshop or open day.
Your work will be featured across STUDIOS 94’s platforms during your stay, providing additional exposure and opportunities to connect.

The Artist Studio Residency is priced at 52,000 THB per month, approximately €1,389.94 EUR or $1,571.00 USD.
A one-month deposit is required to confirm your booking.
Deposit & Cancellation Policy:
The deposit secures your spot and is non-refundable in the case of cancellation.
Upon successful completion of your residency, the deposit will be returned within 14 days, provided there are no damages to the space or outstanding fees.
What’s Not Included:
The residency fee does not cover meals, personal expenses, travel costs, or visa arrangements.
Art materials and tools are not provided and should be brought or sourced by the artist.
Residents are responsible for their own health, travel, and artwork insurance.
