George  David Lynch

George David Lynch is a film photographer working mostly with 35mm. His work leans towards quiet moments and places that are gathering dust. The kind of scenes that the locals have stopped noticing.

He moves between cities and distant landscapes. From Berlin's streets to forgotten border towns and sun-bleached islands; there’s a stillness in his frames, but they’re never empty.

George chooses analogue not only for nostalgia, but to be decisive. Film doesn’t allow for overthinking. No second chances and no questioning what might have been.

He also writes poetry. The words haven’t fully merged with the photographs as of yet, but they come from the same place. Sometimes an image already carries a line that was written long before it was taken.

'With an untapped well of change betwixt us;
The water that dribbles in as you dig deeper;
The blood of my beach;
Those sands of change.'
