All applications are reviewed by the STUDIOS 94 team based on artistic merit, clarity of project proposal, and availability of space. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Applicants will be notified via email once a decision has been made.
2. Selection & Confirmation
If accepted, you will receive an official acceptance email with your confirmed residency dates, studio type, and fee breakdown. A one-month deposit is required within the specified time to secure your place. Full payment terms and payment methods will be shared in the acceptance email.
3. Residency Duration
Residencies run for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 3 months.
4. Use of Space
Studios are to be used for creative work only. Sleeping in the studio, hosting external guests, or using the space for unrelated business or commercial purposes is not allowed unless pre-approved in writing. Shared spaces must be used respectfully and left clean after use.
5. Sales & Legal Responsibility
Please note: Only Thai nationals are legally permitted to sell artwork or services in Thailand without a registered business. If you are not a Thai national and wish to sell your work during your stay, this must be discussed in advance. STUDIOS 94 is not responsible for any legal issues resulting from unauthorized sales or business activity.
6. Project Changes
Any major changes to your proposed project must be communicated in advance. While we support creative evolution, significant changes from the original application may need to be re-reviewed.
7. Cancellations & Deposit Policy
Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation. If you complete your residency and no damages or violations occur, your deposit will be refunded within 14 days of your checkout. STUDIOS 94 reserves the right to withhold part or all of the deposit in cases of damage, unpaid balances, or violation of house rules.
8. Conduct & Community Guidelines
All residents are expected to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative attitude while using the space. Any disruptive, unsafe, or discriminatory behavior may result in immediate termination of the residency without refund.
Outside guests or visitors are not permitted to enter the building beyond the ground floor at any time — whether during the day or overnight. This includes bedrooms, studios, and all other areas starting from the 1st floor. This rule is in place to protect the safety, comfort, and privacy of all community members, residents and staff.
9. Liability
STUDIOS 94 is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property, artwork, or materials. Residents are responsible for their own insurance, equipment, and belongings.
10. Promotion & Documentation
By participating in the residency, you agree to allow STUDIOS 94 to document your process and feature your work on our website, social media, and printed materials, unless otherwise requested in writing.
